Ongoing & Upcoming EFS Events

Midsummer Madness

The Eugene Folklore Society will indeed hold Midsummer Madness again this year, July 24-26, 2015. This camp provides opportunities for singing, dancing, swimming, and hanging around with a collection of dance friends, and will return to Camp Living Waters (the same location as 2013), with The Nettles and Susan Michaels performing for your dancing pleasure each evening. This year we are delighted to have our meals prepared by Almatierra Catering, the folks now cooking at Camp Westwind.
For more information, check out the 2015 Midsummer Madness flier (as a pair of huge jpeg files or as a two-page scanned PDF).
Or, just go directly to the registration form!

First Wednesday Song Circle

The next EFS Song Circle will be on Wednesday, April 1st, from 7:00-9:00pm, at Kris' place, 1063 Randall St. For directions, call 541-357-1857.
Bring your own copy of the Rise Up Singing songbook. If you are inspired to share a song that is not in that book, bring 12-18 copies of the lyrics and chords. A song circle is a fine place to bring your guitar, ukulele, mandolin, or banjo, and you don't need to be a virtuoso. This is a jolly bunch of folks who love to laugh as much as they love to sing!

For more info about song circle in general, call Carol at 541-556-8241.
