Contra Dance: Cascade Crossing with William Watson calling - September 14 2019

Cascade Crossing is one of the most sought after contra bands in the Pacific Northwest, with Lori Prime on fiddle, mandolin and banjo; Sarah Goss on oboe, whistles and bass; Carl Thor on piano, hammered dulcimer and mandolin; and Rich Goss on guitar and percussion.

William Watson, of Portland Oregon, danced his first contra in 1989 and has been calling since 1992. His vigilant, thoughtful dance programming ensures a variety of figures, transitions and sequences to entertain and support new dancers as well as challenge experienced dancers.
