Treetop features Bo Leyden (mandolin, banjo, flute), Shari Ame (fiddle), Benjamin Young (banjo, whistle), and Rachael Young (piano). Between them they bring a mix of Irish, Quebecois, and New England style, and put it together with Pacific Northwest flair. Bo has been a longtime contradance musician and dancer, and currently operates Calliope Musicworks, constructing and repairing stringed instruments. Shari’s fiddle expresses a wide palette of moods from wistful introspection to red-hot magnificence. Ben and Rachael come from the Irish traditional session background, having played with many groups across Canada and throughout Washington, Oregon, and California.
Erik Weberg has been calling contra dances and English Country dances for over twenty years.
